Properties:
There is a close connection between the function of the immune system and the intake of nutrients from the body. Among the most important micronutrients necessary for the proper functioning of the immune system are Vitamin C, Vitamin D3 and the microminerals: Zinc and Selenium. The synergy created between these essential nutrients supports the three lines of defense of the immune system, which includes the epithelial barrier, the cellular response and the production of antibodies.
Immuno-Essentials provides essential nutrients for the proper functioning of the innate and acquired immune system, and the double-layer tablet administration form offers the possibility of controlled release of nutrients for a sustained effect throughout the day.

C vitamin:
It supports the good functioning of the immune system, both mechanical (skin) and cellular (leukocytes) through an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory mechanism and balances histamine levels through an anti-allergic mechanism.
It protects cells against oxidative stress through an antioxidant mechanism and through its participation in collagen synthesis (necessary for the stabilization of the epithelial barrier).

Vitamin D3:
It supports the activity of a considerable number of genes with a role in balancing the response of the innate and acquired immune system. The active form of Vitamin D3 regulates the function of cathelicidins (compounds with antimicrobial action), expressed in different types of cells (such as macrophages, keratinocytes, lung epithelial cells and cytokines).
Serum levels of vitamin D3 support the production of antibodies, by activating B cells (responsible for the immune response). It also controls the production of chemical messengers (cytokines) of the immune system.

Zinc:
It supports the activity of cellular mediators of innate immunity (phagocytosis of macrophages and neutrophils) and the activity of NK cells.
Zinc also has anti-inflammatory properties (it balances the concentrations of tumor necrosis factor TNF-alpha and IL-2) and antioxidants (it balances the activity of the enzyme responsible for the generation of oxidizing agents).

Selenium:
It provides support in the maturation and functioning of T cells, as well as in the production of antibodies dependent on T cells. It participates in balancing the serum level of selenoproteins with an antioxidant role and supports the proper functioning of the immune system.
It contributes to maintaining the integrity of the skin, hair and nails through its antioxidant action.

Administration method:
1 double-layer tablet/day, at the table, with 200ml of water or as recommended by the specialist consultant.
