Crespine gel + is an absorbable intra-articular implant with a high degree of purity. It is a medical device made of hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin.
Crespine gel + is a sterile gel implant, non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic, insoluble in water, compatible from a biological point of view (non-immunizing, non-inflammatory, non-toxic), made of cross-linked hyaluronic acid obtained by fermentation. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide naturally present in the dermal matrix of human skin and a component of synovial fluid. Hyaluronic acid is chemically, physically and biologically identical in the tissues of all higher organisms.

Composition/1 ml:
Sodium hyaluronate, cross-linked 14.0 mg
Sodium hyaluronate 1.0 mg
Prilocaine hydrochloride 3.0 mg
Water for injections ad 1.0 ml

Mode of action:
Crespine gel + is injected at the joint level as a vaso-supplement to reduce pain symptoms and improve joint function.


Indications and administration:
Crespine gel + is indicated for joint function disorders and for pain as a result of degenerative deficits, being a treatment that consists of a single injection.
After the injection, hyaluronic acid forms a layer on the surface of the articular cartilage and relieves painful symptoms.

Therapeutic areas:
Osteoarthritis in the joints (for example knee and hip joints).

Contraindications:
- autoimmune diseases;
- incompatibility with gram-positive bacteria;
- active infectious or inflammatory processes;
- anticoagulant therapies;
- known allergy to hyaluronic acid in case of known hypersensitivity to amide-type local anesthetics;
- patients with congenital or idiopathic methemoglobinemia or severe anemia in children.
