Description
Solpadeine Extra, 16 effervescent tablets, Omega Pharma
This medicine is for the short-term treatment of acute moderate pain when other pain relief medicines have not worked.
Composition:
Paracetamol - 500 mg, Codeine phosphate hemihydrate - 12.8 mg, Caffeine - 30 mg.
How to use:
- Take 1 or 2 tablets dissolved in at least a glass of water (200 ml), every 4 - 6 hours, if necessary
- Do not take more than once every 4 hours
- Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours (equivalent to paracetamol 4 g, codeine phosphate hemihydrate 102.4 mg and caffeine 240 mg).
Precautions:
- You must take this medicine only for a maximum of 3 days. If you need to take more than 3 days, you must contact your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations
- This medicine contains codeine, which can cause addiction if you take it continuously for more than 3 days
- This may develop withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking it
- If you take this medicine for headaches for more than 3 days, it can make them worse.
