Rhinxyl HA nasal spray for adults 0.1%, 10 ml, Terapia

Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution belongs to a group of medicines for the treatment of diseases of the nose, called sympathomimetics.

It contains xylometazoline hydrochloride, which helps to narrow the blood capillaries in the nose, thus reducing congestion of the nasal mucosa.

Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution also contains hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium hyaluronate), which protects and moisturizes the nasal mucosa.

Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution is used to reduce congestion of the nasal mucosa caused by inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis) or inflammation of the sinus mucosa (sinusitis).

Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution is recommended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Composition:

• The active substance is xylometazoline hydrochloride
• 1 ml of Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 1 mg
• One spray (140 µl) contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.140 mg.

How to use:

• Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have any doubts
• Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 spray of Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution in each nostril, up to 3 times a day
• Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution should not be used for more than 5 days, unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor
• Use may be repeated if treatment has been interrupted for several days
• Long-term use of Rhinxyl Ha 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution may lead to atrophy of the nasal mucosa. Therefore, in case of chronic disorders, the medicine may only be used under medical supervision
• Doses higher than those recommended should not be used.

Contraindications:

Do not use RHINXYL HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution:

• if you are allergic to xylometazoline or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• if you have dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis sicca)
• if you have undergone neurosurgical surgery (transsphenoidal pituitary surgery or any other neurosurgical procedure involving exposure of the meninges)
• if you have increased pressure inside the eye, particularly narrow-angle glaucoma
• in children under 12 years of age.

Precautions:

Before using RHINXYL HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, If you think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine
• There are no adequate data on the use of xylometazoline hydrochloride in pregnant women. Therefore, RHINXYL HA 1 mg/ml nasal spray, solution should not be used during pregnancy
• This medicine should not be used during breast-feeding, as it is not known whether xylometazoline hydrochloride is excreted in breast milk.

Driving and using machines:

• It is not expected to reduce the ability to drive or use machines if the medicine is used according to the instructions.
