Antimicrobial effect Microdacyn contains super-oxidized species similar to those produced by our body's own immune system, including neutrophils. These reactive oxygen species (ROS) physically rupture pathogenic cells using osmotic shock, a combination of high oxidative reduction potential (ORP) and hypotonicity.

Acceleration of healing Application of Microdacyn to wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers and venous ulcers has shown an increase in transcutaneous oxygen pressure (tcpO2).
