Description
Lagosa, 150 mg, 50 dragees, Worwag Pharma
Lagosa is used in cases of exposure to substances with hepatotoxic risk.
Composition:
- The active substance is silymarin
- Each dragee contains silymarin 150 mg in the form of dry methanolic extract of marianus fruit (Carduus marianus fructus) 240 mg
- The other components are: core - lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium type A, povidone K30, talc, magnesium stearate, solid fat;coating layer - shellac, sugar, calcium carbonate, talc, gum arabic, corn starch, titanium dioxide (E 171), colloidal silicon dioxide, povidone K30, macrogol 6000, glycerol 85%, polysorbate 80, beeswax glycol.
How to use:
- Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
- The usual recommended dose is 300 mg silymarin (2 Lagosa dragees) per day
- The dragees will be swallowed with a small amount of liquid.
If you use more Lagos than you should:
- If you have taken too many tablets by mistake, or if a child has swallowed a few tablets, contact your doctor or the nearest hospital immediately. In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment is recommended
- There is no specific antidote for silymarin overdose.
If you forget to use Lagosa:
- If you accidentally forget to take your daily dose, take your next dose as usual
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose
- If you have any further questions about this medicine, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
Precautions:
Before using Lagosa, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy:
- You must tell your doctor if you are (or might become) pregnant
- Your doctor will normally advise you to stop taking Lagosa before you become pregnant or as soon as you know you are pregnant.
Breastfeeding:
- Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding or want to start breast-feeding
- Lagosa is not recommended for nursing mothers.
- Driving vehicles and using machines:
- Lagosa does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
Contraindications:
Do not use Lagosa if you are allergic to silymarin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
