Properties:
Laxative from natural source, fights chronic constipation and contributes to weight control.
Ideal in slimming belts.
Cascara Sagrada, extracted from the bark of the Rhamnus purshiana tree, has a laxative-purgative action, does not create addiction, and the results are visible quickly and persist for a long period of time. The bioactive substances from the plant called Hydroxyanthracenozides act both on the intestinal tract, causing stool evacuation, and on the liver, liver and pancreas, hormonally, through the pituitary gland.
Ingredients:
Cascara Sagrada bark (Rhamnus purshiana) – 325 mg.
Inactive ingredients: monocrystalline cellulose, corn starch, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide.
Administration method:
For adults only. One tablet in the evening at bedtime and the dose is repeated in the morning, if necessary.
It is administered 1-2 hours apart from iron-based medicines (they form non-absorbable complexes).
The duration of the belt is a maximum of 1 week.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated for children under 12, pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in case of intestinal obstruction, acute inflammation (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome), chronic constipation, nausea, vomiting, appendicitis, abdominal pain of unknown etiology. It may interact with antiarrhythmic drugs, digitalis glycosides, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or preparations based on licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), when administered simultaneously.
