Ingredients:
The aerial part of the plant Thymus serpyllum L., fam. Lamiaceae, which contains volatile oil, represented mainly by phenolic terpenes, thymol, carvacrol, limonene, terpineol; bitter principle, flavones, caffeic acid, tannin, mineral salts.

Effect:
Expectorant and cough reliever, antibacterial, antiviral, stomachic (stimulates the secretion of gastrointestinal juices), choleretic (stimulates bile secretion), carminative (helps eliminate intestinal gases), intestinal antiseptic, anthelmintic, diuretic.

Main uses:
Flu, laryngitis, bronchitis, asthma, spasmodic cough.

Other uses:
Anorexia, dyspepsia, enterocolitis, intestinal parasites.

Contraindications:
It is recommended with caution during pregnancy.

Preparation:
Make an infusion of 1 teaspoon of chopped herb to a cup of water.
