Berberine 500 mg is a food supplement made from dracila (Berberis vulgaris) extract, standardized with a minimum of 98% berberine hydrochloride.

According to a study published in 2015, berberine may help lower blood sugar. Thus, berberine may help prevent type 2 diabetes and its complications (including cardiovascular disease and diabetic neuropathy.

Ingredients:

50:1 hydroethanolic extract from the bark and root of Berberis vulgaris, standardized with min. 98% berberine hydrochloride – 500 mg.

How to use:

Usual doses (adults): one capsule 1-2 times a day, preferably on an empty stomach or as recommended by the specialist.

Precautions:

• Pregnant or lactating women, diabetics and people with acute conditions or complex medication should seek specialist advice before use
• Increased doses may cause gastric discomfort in sensitive individuals (diarrhea, constipation, flatulence, stomach pain)
