Specchiasol's Epid Propolis products are available in different delivery forms to suit individual needs: spray or sachets for oral administration, chewable or effervescent tablets, aerosol ampoules, nasal spray, hydroalcoholic extract or syrup. 

For example, Epid Influepid Plus comes in the form of effervescent tablets and contains propolis extract, N-acetylcysteine, vitamin C, rosehip fruit extract and Devil's Claw extract.

Immunepid Propolis is a product specially designed for adults, in sachet form, containing propolis extract, magnesium, vitamin D, elderberry, Astragalus extract and a mixture of lactic ferments.

Epid Tus Junior is a product suitable for children with propolis, eucalyptus honey, Myrtle extract and essential oil, Lemon essential oil and Sweet Orange essential oil.

Thanks to the healing properties of propolis, the products in the EPID range are recommended for a range of needs:

• Support the immune system - Propolis has powerful antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, helping the body fight viral and bacterial infections.

• Respiratory conditions - Oral and nasal sprays are useful in the symptomatic treatment of colds, sore throat, pharyngitis or rhinitis. Propolis reduces inflammation and fights upper respiratory tract infections. 

• Oral hygiene - Oral sprays help maintain a healthy oral cavity with antiseptic and soothing effects. 

The dosing regimen for Epid products differs depending on the delivery form and treatment indications.

Epid oral spray is applied in 1-2 puffs 3-4 times a day as needed.

Epid nasal spray is administered with the applicator, 1-2 puffs in each nostril, and can be repeated up to 4-5 times a day as needed.

For effervescent tablets, take 1 tablet twice a day in adults and 1 tablet a day in children over 6 years of age.

Epid products have specific contraindications, which users should be aware of before starting treatment:

• Allergy to propolis or bee products - People with sensitivity to any of the active ingredients should avoid using the products.

• Pregnancy and breastfeeding - In the absence of detailed clinical studies on the safety of using Epid products during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

• Bleeding disorders - Taking propolis could increase the risk of bleeding in these people

In the case of Epid Aerosol, the product must be used in conjunction with aerosol equipment and is non-m aerosolizable with all types of aerosol devices. The product is intended for nasal use only. 

Propolis can, in rare cases, cause allergic reactions in people sensitive to bee products. These include rashes or itching.

Some Epid products contain sweeteners and may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess.

Epid products may interact with certain medicines, especially anticoagulant medicines. Propolis may slow blood clotting and in combination with other anticoagulant drugs, may increase the risk of bleeding.

It is advisable to tell your doctor about any other medicines you are taking, especially those for chronic diseases, to avoid possible interactions.

Overdose with Epid products is rare, but severe allergic reactions can occur.

In case of accidental overdose, it is advisable to discontinue use immediately and contact a doctor.

Epid Propolis Plus products should be stored at room temperature, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of the reach of children.
