Devil's claw - this mysterious name refers to a plant called devil's claw (Latin: Harpagophytum procumbens), native to the Kalahari desert in southern Africa. The common name "devil's claw" or "devil's claw" refers to the structure of the fruit of this plant, which is characterized by numerous hard spines resembling hooks or claws. The fruits attach to the fur of animals, so the seeds are distributed as they travel.
The supplement uses dried, ground roots that have been used for centuries by the Khoisan people of southern Africa to treat arthritis and indigestion.
