Description
Transparent dressing made of Tegaderm film covered with a hypoallergenic adhesive provided with a reinforced portion of non-woven material with a slot for the safe adjustment of peripheral venous catheters with an extra medication port. The rounded edges of the dressing help to fix it efficiently. Properties: - it adapts to the criteria and recommendations that the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) makes regarding the dressings that must be used for the correct care and maintenance of catheters for intravenous therapy; - the slit of the dressing ensures a secure fixation around the extra medication port; - two strips of patch made of fine fabric, to complete the fixation of the dressing and the tubing of the infusion system, as appropriate; - permeability to vapors and oxygen; - transparency ensures visibility of the insertion site throughout the treatment; - fixation system for intravenous therapy.
