The richest sources of vitamin K are green vegetables that contain a large amount of chlorophyll, including broccoli, kale, spinach, Brussels sprouts, romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, arugula, corn salad, kale and asparagus. The Swanson ® K2 brand preparation uses menaquinone-7 obtained from fermented soybeans. Vitamin K helps maintain healthy bones. In addition, vitamin K is necessary for proper blood clotting.
