Sinupret solution, 100 ml, Bionorica

Sinupret oral solution drops is a herbal medicine, used for over 80 years in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses.

It is indicated for children from the age of 2, adolescents and adults.

Composition:

One ml of oral solution drops contains the active substances:

• 283 mg extract (drug-extract ratio 1:11) of chopped gentian root
• aerial parts of verbena, cut
• aerial parts of sorrel, cut
• elderflowers, ground
• calyx cuckoo flowers, cut; (1:3:3:3:3)
• extraction solvent: ethanol 59% (v/v).
• One ml of oral solution drops contains 17 drops.

Administration method:

• Always take Sinupret oral solution drops exactly as described in this leaflet
• You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, usual dose for:

• Children aged 2-6 years: 15 drops (equivalent to 0.9 ml) 3 times a day
• children aged 6-11 years: 25 drops (equivalent to 1.5 ml) 3 times a day
• Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 50 drops (equivalent to 3.0 ml) 3 times a day.

The drops are administered orally.

Precautions:

• Do not use Sinupret oral solution drops if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to gentian root, verbena aerial parts, sorrel aerial parts, cornflowers, cuckoo flowers or any of the other components of Sinupret oral solution drops
• Take special care when using Sinupret oral drops solution
• Please contact your doctor if symptoms last longer than 7-14 days or recur periodically.

Use of other drugs:

• So far no interactions with other drugs are known
• Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Using Sinupret oral solution drops with food and drinks:

It's not necessary.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. Sinupret oral solution drops will be administered during pregnancy and during breastfeeding only after a strict evaluation of the risk-benefit ratio by the doctor.

Driving and using machines:

• No special precautions are required.

Important information regarding some components of Sinupret oral drops solution:

This medicine contains 19% (v/v) ethyl alcohol, i.e. 0.45 g of ethyl alcohol per 50 drops of Sinupret, which is equivalent to 11 ml of beer or 4 ml of wine

It can be harmful to people with alcoholism

This should be considered in pregnant or lactating women, children and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy.
