HiPP Comfort Special Infant Formula is a nutritionally complete infant formula for the nutritional treatment of infant bloat, colic* and constipation. It can be given from birth as exclusive food to infants who cannot be breastfed, as well as from the end of the 6th month as part of a mixed diet. HiPP Comfort is a food intended for special medical purposes. It is administered only after consulting the doctor.

The special HiPP Comfort infant formula contains:

• Low lactose: easily digestible milk sugars. Some babies are lactose intolerant, so the lactose content is lower than in regular infant formulas
• Split (hydrolyzed) proteins: protein components divided into small parts that the body perceives less as foreign and can digest better. Reduces the risk of developing allergies - suitable for children at risk of allergies
• A unique fat blend with beta-palmitate - an easily digestible fat modeled after breast milk
• Lactic cultures of L. fermentum that occur naturally in breast milk. Breast milk naturally contains probiotic cultures - in individual variability and quantity
• GOS galactooligosaccharides – complex lactose carbohydrates that support the growth of probiotic cultures, contribute to better digestion . Lactose is the main carbohydrate in breast milk. GOS components are thus naturally contained in breast milk

To make the belly feel like a bedroom

A sensitive belly is not uncommon in the first weeks and months of life. The digestive system is not yet fully developed, which can be manifested by bloating and constipation . This situation is difficult not only for the baby's tummy, which may cry excessively, but also for the whole family. In this case, always consult a doctor about the appropriate procedure.

Relieves symptoms of bloating, colic* and constipation and associated crying. When switching to HiPP Comfort, stool consistency may change due to GOS galactooligosaccharides in lactose - stool may be softer - similar to breastfed babies.

Instructions for preparation

Follow the recommendations below. Improper preparation could endanger your child's health. Therefore, before each feeding, prepare the product fresh and serve it immediately. Do not reuse the unused part of the prepared food. Always wash the bottle and all its parts thoroughly. Immediately after removing the product, tightly close the opened container and store it in a dry place at room temperature. After opening, use within 3 weeks. Do not heat the dish in the microwave (risk of burns).

1. Boil fresh baby drinking water before each preparation and let it cool down to around 40-50 °C*.
2. Pour the prepared water into the bottle.
3. Simply fill the measuring cup with product and line it up with the rim inside the box. Add the measured amount to the bottle.
4. Close the bottle and shake well.
5. Cool to drinking temperature (about 37°C). Check the temperature.

*To prevent damage to milk cultures (lactobacilli), do not pour over the product with too hot water.

Dosage

** From the end of the 4th month, you can start introducing complementary foods after an agreement with the doctor. Babies need about 5 meals a day. With each new food added, one food in the bottle is removed.

Important note

• Breastfeeding is best for your baby. If you want to use HiPP Comfort, consult your doctor or a person qualified in nutrition, pharmacy or maternal and child care.
• HiPP Comfort can only be administered on the basis of a doctor's recommendation and under medical supervision (food for special medical purposes)
• HiPP Comfort is intended for the nutritional treatment of bloating, colic and constipation in infants and can only be given under medical supervision from birth as an exclusive food, as well as from the age of 6 months as part of a mixed diet.
• Consult a doctor: HiPP Comfort is also suitable for children at risk of allergies; do not use if allergy to cow's milk proteins is present or suspected; if there is no improvement after a few days
• Like breast milk, infant formula also contains carbohydrates, which are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or continuous contact of the teeth with carbohydrates can cause cavities. Therefore, do not let the child drink from a bottle for a long time and teach him to drink from a glass as soon as possible. Pay attention to your child's balanced diet and healthy lifestyle
