Composition:
Rooibos – Aspalathus linearis.
Administration method:
Internally: infusion - pour 250 ml of boiling water over a teaspoon of the plant. The dish is covered and left to rest for 5-10 minutes, after which it is strained. Drink 2-3 cups of tea throughout the day. The tea is served as it is or, according to preference, with honey, sugar or milk. Red tea with milk and sugar is preferred in South Africa, but in other areas of the world it is served plain or slightly sweetened.
