Description
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the following dose is recommended:
- Adults and older children: 14-27 drops once a day.
- Children over 4 years: 7-14 drops once a day.
It is recommended to take the medicine in the evening so that emptying occurs in the morning. A measured amount of drops is taken with a little liquid. The effect usually occurs 10-12 hours after use.
Notice:
The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible only after a careful analysis of the risk-benefit ratio. The medicine is contraindicated for children under 4 years of age. Children older than 4 years can use the medicine only on the basis of the doctor's recommendation. Without consulting a doctor, the drug can be used only for a short time. Long-term use of the drug often causes increased constipation. The drug is contraindicated in severe dehydration. Treatment with this medicine is only indicated if measures such as a change in diet (a high-fibre diet as well as sufficient fluid intake) and a change in lifestyle (eg sufficient physical activity) are not successful for a long time. The shelf life of the medicine after first opening is 6 months.
