Description
Pyrantelum Owix is an antiparasitic medicine in the form of an oral suspension for adults and children over 2 years of age, which is used to treat pinworm infections. The active substance of the drug is pyrantel, which does not irritate the intestines and does not cause the movement of ticks.
Pyrantelum Owix acts on the mature forms and on the parasites in the early stages of development, but has no effect on the larvae during their migration into the tissues. Immobilized parasites are removed from the intestine by peristaltic bowel movements.
