Indications:
Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
This medicine is indicated for the treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain in adults and children over 3 months of age.

Contraindications:
Do not take PADUDEN Junior if:
- You are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before taking PADUDEN Junior, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Task:
Since the administration of this type of medicine has been associated with an increased risk of congenital anomalies/miscarriage, administration is not recommended in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, unless considered strictly necessary. In these cases, the dose and duration of administration should be limited to the minimum possible.
In the third trimester of pregnancy, administration of PADUDEN Junior is contraindicated.

Fertility:
For patients of childbearing age, it should be noted that drugs of this type have been associated with reduced ability to conceive a child.

Breastfeeding:
Although the amounts of this drug that pass into breast milk are negligible, it is recommended that you do not take ibuprofen for long periods of time when you are breastfeeding.
Therefore, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking any medication.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Although these effects are rare, this drug should be used with caution in patients whose activity requires attention and in those who have experienced symptoms of drowsiness, dizziness or depression during treatment.

Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse if you are not sure.

Your doctor will indicate the duration of treatment with PADUDEN Junior. Do not stop the treatment early, as you will not get the desired effects.
PADUDEN Junior is a suspension for oral administration.
A 5 ml syringe with precise graduations (graduated in steps from 0.25 ml to 5 ml) is included in the package for precise dosing. Always use the syringe provided in the package.

Age/doses:
3 months - 12 years: 20 - 30 mg/kg
Adults and adolescents: 10 ml X 3 /day (1200mg ibuprofen)

- The active substance is ibuprofen. Each ml of oral suspension contains ibuprofen 40 mg.
