Omega 3 by Dr. Ewa Dąbrowska is a dietary supplement based on Antarctic krill oil. It is a small crustacean that looks like a shrimp. It lives in the cold and clean waters of Antarctica, being a source of highly digestible EPA and DHA acids, phospholipids, choline and astaxanthin.

Phospholipids - are the basic building blocks of cell membranes. They participate in the processes of cell renewal and regeneration, as well as in the functioning of receptors, including: hormones, cytokines and immune cells. They constitute approximately 65% of the composition of hepatocytes, i.e. liver cells. As a result, it regenerates the liver, inhibits its fibrosis processes and reduces the accumulation of fat in it. By stimulating the dissolution of cholesterol through bile, they inhibit its deposition in the blood vessels.

Choline - also called vitamin B4, is involved in the metabolism of cholesterol and other fat components. It helps to maintain the good functioning of the liver, including in the detoxification process. It also determines the proper functioning of the nervous system - improves neurotransmission in the brain, supports memory, concentration and reflexes.

Astaxanthin - It is considered the most powerful antioxidant found in nature. It delays cellular aging, protects against DNA damage and has a protective effect on the cardiovascular system. It has a positive effect on the lipid profile in the blood, reducing the concentration of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides and increasing the concentration of "good" HDL cholesterol.
