Description
Nurofen for children is a medicine in the form of suppositories intended for children from the age of 3 months who have reached a body weight of 6 kg. The indication for the use of the drug is fever and mild to moderate pain. The active substance of the drug is ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The drug has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. Ibuprofen's mechanism of action is based on changing the body's response to pain, swelling and increased body temperature. Nurofen for children is used when oral administration is inadvisable, for example when vomiting occurs. The product package contains 10 suppositories.
