Description
Neo- angin® 1.2 mg + 0.6 mg + 5.9 mg is a medicine in the form of pills for use in adults and children over 6 years of age. Sore throats can be caused by viruses and bacteria that cause infection and inflammation. The medicine contains two active substances: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol, which have an antiseptic effect, and levomenthol, which causes a cold sensation in the mucous membranes.
When to use Neo-angin ® ?
Neo-angina pills are indicated for use as a support in the treatment of inflammation of the mouth and throat with symptoms such as:
- Sore throat,
- redness,
- swelling of the mucous membrane,
- pain when swallowing.
The simultaneous use of three active substances in Neo-angin ® causes the disappearance of pain in the throat and resulting difficulties in swallowing. The onset of action occurs only 5 minutes after application and its duration is up to 3 hours. The large pack contains 36 lozenges that provide fast relief from sore throat.
The maximum daily dose of the drug is 6 tablets, taken individually, 2-3 hours apart.
