Description
Naproxen Hasco gel 100 mg/g is an over-the-counter (OTC) medicine intended for topical application to the skin. The active substance used in the drug - naproxen - has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Moreover, the excipient - levomenthol anesthetizes locally and leaves a cooling sensation on the skin. It also contributes to the dilation of blood vessels at the site of application of the gel and improves the penetration of naproxen into diseased tissues. Chloral hydrate slightly irritates the skin and, like levomenthol, has a beneficial effect on increasing skin blood flow.
