Indications:

Modafen is part of the group of nasal decongestants for systemic use, symptomatic, combinations, used to relieve unpleasant symptoms of flu and cold, such as nasal and sinus congestion, headache, fever, sore throat, muscle and joint pain.

It contains ibuprofen, which is effective for relieving pain (analgesic medicine), inflammation (anti-inflammatory medicine) and lowering the temperature in case of fever (antipyretic medicine). The other active substance, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, reduces edema in the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract (decongestant medicine).

Relief of flu and cold symptoms occurs quickly, starting with the decongestion of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, followed by the reduction of fever and the reduction of pain associated with flu and cold.

Composition:

The active substances are ibuprofen 200 mg and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg.

Administration method:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age (≥ 40 kg): the initial dose is 1-2 film-coated tablets; subsequently, if necessary, additional doses of 1-2 film-coated tablets may be used every 4-6 hours.

• Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• A maximum daily dose of 6 film-coated tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) must not be exceeded.
• The interval between doses must be determined according to the observed symptoms and the maximum recommended daily dose.
