Description
Description:
Manupantein is used:
- after ENT procedures to regenerate the nasal mucosa, reduce the formation of crusts and soften dry nasal secretions,
- to relieve the symptoms of stuffy nose, for example in the case of allergic, bacterial, viral or fungal rhinitis;
- in case of excessive dryness of the nasal mucosa resulting from the impact of unfavorable environmental factors, e.g. staying in rooms with dry air (air conditioning, heating);
- in case of dysfunction of the nasal mucosa resulting from drug-induced or allergic rhinitis, osesthesia or the use of aerosols, gels or nasal drops that negatively affect the ciliary mucosa,
- in preventing and supporting the treatment of nasal skin cracks resulting from long-term catarrh,
- facilitation of endoscopic examinations and/or nasal packing.
The preparation improves the condition of the nasal mucosa by hydrating it, soothing irritations and regenerating the natural hydrolipidic barrier. Sesame oil (Sesamum Indicum), Manuka honey MGO 400+ and D-panthenol contained in the ointment create a protective layer in the anterior section of the nose, limiting the process of water evaporation. Thanks to this, they hydrate and care for the nasal mucosa, thus supporting its regeneration process, preventing it from drying out again. The moisturizing and regenerating properties of the ingredients of the ointments allow effective prevention and support in the treatment of cracks, redness or abrasions of the skin around the nose, which are a consequence of persistent runny nose. The emollient properties of the preparation's ingredients facilitate the safe removal of post-traumatic or postoperative crusts and the easier removal of dry nasal secretions.
From where:
250 IU/g retinol palmitate (vitamin A), tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), cold-pressed sesame oil (Sesamum Indicum), Manuka honey MGO 400+, D-panthenol, cetostearyl alcohol, lanolin, liquid paraffin, white petroleum jelly.
How to use:
Insert the tube applicator as deep as possible into both nostrils. Squeeze out a strip of ointment about 1 cm long. Gently massaging it into the wings of the nose, it will spread evenly on the balm until it is completely absorbed. Mucus can also be inserted into the nose using a stick with a cotton swab on the end.
How often can it be applied to the nose?
It should be used one to several times a day. It is especially recommended to use it before going to bed. Due to the lack of preservatives, it can be used for a long time.
