How does Loper 2 mg tablets for diarrhea work?
Loperamide is an oral antidiarrheal drug. It reduces intestinal peristalsis, thus prolonging the time required for the passage of food through the intestines. In addition, it increases the resting tension of the anal sphincter, while reducing the immediate need to defecate, the so-called urge to defecate.
Loper 2 mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea. In patients with ileal fistula, loperamide loper tablets can be used to reduce the number and volume of stools and increase their consistency.
Loper anti-diarrhea tablets can be used in adults and children over 6 years of age.
