Effective treatment starts from within
The probiotic strains in Linex® over-the-counter capsules have been shown to be effective in treating the following problems:
Supportive treatment for diarrhea occurring during broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy
Antibiotics are designed to kill harmful bacteria that cause disease. However, they can also destroy the beneficial bacteria in the intestinal microflora, which are important for the proper functioning of the digestive system, which results in e.g. diarrhea. 4 The probiotic strains in the over-the-counter medicine Linex ® capsules can also help with radiation-related diarrhea of the abdominal and pelvic organs. 2 Lactic acid bacteria in over-the-counter Linex® capsules are resistant to antibiotics. 2
Supportive treatment for diarrhea occurring in bacterial or viral infections
It is usually caused by a bacterial, viral or parasitic infection. Approximately 1.7 billion cases of diarrhea occur annually. 5 Non-prescription Linex® capsules are suitable for use as supportive treatment for diarrhea that occurs during bacterial or viral infections in the digestive tract. 2 Such diarrhea can occur e.g. even when traveling abroad.
Flatulence (bloating) and other indigestion
Flatulence or bloating is popularly referred to as "wind". The use of Linex ® capsule probiotics is also suitable for these problems. 2.6
Normalizes and balances intestinal microflora
The lyophilized lactic acid bacteria in the over-the-counter medicine Linex® capsules regulate the natural balance of the intestinal microflora. 6
Linex® over-the-counter capsules are suitable for infants, children and adults. Take Linex ® capsules after a meal and drink them with a small amount of water. For children who do not know or cannot swallow, the contents of the capsule are poured onto a spoon and mixed with a little liquid. 6
