Purple corn (Zea mays) is a variety of corn with blue-purple grains. It is one of the most commonly eaten foods in Peruvian cuisine and has been cultivated in South America for thousands of years. This variety of corn owes its color to its high anthocyanin content. These are natural chemical compounds with antioxidant properties that belong to the polyphenol group. Purple corn has high nutritional value. It is rich in ingredients such as fiber, vitamins and minerals, as well as anthocyanins, which are known for their health properties, including powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects - helping to fight free radicals.
Anthocyanins contained in purple corn
Anthocyanins are a group of natural chemical compounds that belong to the class of flavonoids. They are responsible for many of the colors found in plants, including the dark purple color of this variety of corn.
Anthocyanins are water soluble and easily absorbed by the body. Foods rich in anthocyanins are mainly fruits and vegetables, such as: grapes, blueberries, black currants, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, red cabbage and (of course) purple corn. However, the amount of anthocyanins in plant foods can vary depending on variety, level of ripeness, growing conditions, and preparation method.

Daily serving: 2 capsules once a day. Swallow the capsules and drink plenty of water after a meal.
