Properties:
Glutathione, called the "protein of life", is a bioactive polypeptide with coenzyme function, present in almost all cells of the human body.
Glutathione is one of the most powerful and important intracellular antioxidants of the body. It is synthesized in the liver, from the amino acids cysteine, glutamine and glycine.
The liver is the largest store of glutathione, but in high concentrations glutathione is also found in the lungs, spleen, kidneys, pancreas, corneas, leukocytes and erythrocytes.
