What are Kropia Plus drops used for?
Kropia Plus is intended for intensive hydration of the eyeball when it is dry due to negative effects
the influence of the environment, causing disorders such as: dry eye, bodily sensation
foreign substance in the eye, burned eyes, as well as after eye surgery.
When should Kropia Plus drops be used?
Kropia Plus drops should be used in conditions of tear deficiency (so-called dry eye syndrome), accompanied by such
symptoms such as: dry eye, burning or tired eyes. The causes of these symptoms can be: work at
monitor, watching TV for a long time, dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms
there will be cigarette smoke. A reduction in bile secretion can also occur as a result of surgery
or eye injuries, it is necessary for the regeneration process of the surface structures of the eye to proceed correctly
constant hydration. Kropia Plus contains a high concentration of sodium hyaluronate, which makes the cornea and conjunctiva of the eye...
long-lasting hydration.
How do the active ingredients of Kropia Plus drops work?
Sodium hyaluronate - a naturally occurring polysaccharide in the human body, including the vitreous humor of the eye,
is commonly known as a powerful moisturizer. The mucoadhesive properties of hyaluronic acid ensure
better adhesion of the preparation to the surface of the eye, which leads to faster healing of the corneal epithelium,
and due to its viscoelastic (viscoelastic) properties, it increases film stability
zodiac, which is convex much slower when blinking.
Electrolytes (sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium chloride) - precorneal film covering the cornea and conjunctiva
it is rich in electrolytes, i.e. sodium, potassium, chlorine, magnesium and calcium. Electrolytes play a key role in homeostasis
ocular surface and alleviating dry eye syndrome (DDS) symptoms.
Osmoprotectors - substances with an osmoprotective effect are small molecules that are used by various cells
to rebuild isotonic cell volume and stabilize proteins, allowing adaptation to hyperosmolarity.
The main problem in dry eye syndrome is the hyperosmolarity of the ocular film, which affects the deterioration
corneal epiepithelium and conjunctival goblet cells. Glycerol (glycerin) has hygroscopic properties
(water binding). Glycerol solutions in the form of eye drops are used to ensure the long-term effect
hydrates, thus relieving the sensation of dryness in the eyes and preventing irritation or chronic conditions
inflammatory.
