Adhesive Border Hyalo4 dressing, 15x15 cm, 10 pieces, Fidia Farmaceutici

Properties:
- it is a sterile dressing, made of absorbent polyurethane foam, designed to absorb secretions from the wound;
- the absorption capacity of the dressing is high, the absorbed secretions are directed centrally, which prevents maceration of the skin around the wound;
- the outer layer of the dressing is a pink polyurethane film, with low friction, water-resistant and anti-bacterial;
- the contact layer with the bottom of the wound is perforated, does not adhere to the wound and allows painless dressing change;
- the self-adhesive silicone edges keep the dressing in place but are gentle on the skin;
- maintains the optimal wet environment in the wound to facilitate the healing process;
- it attaches easily but securely to the skin, peeling the skin and pain during removal being minimal;
- it is indicated for acute or chronic wounds, with moderate to abundant secretions such as: bedsores, venous or arterial leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, traumatic wounds, grafts, surgical wounds, burns; can also be used as a secondary dressing for penetrating wounds;
- does not contain latex;
- can be used under a compression bandage.

Way of ussage:
Preparation of the area and application of the dressing.
1. If necessary, moisten the wound and surrounding skin with appropriate solutions (eg, sterile saline). Then carefully dry the area around the wound.
2. Choose a Hyalo4 polyurethane foam dressing with adhesive edges that is slightly larger than the wound. The foam pad should extend (at least 2 cm) over the open wound in all directions.
4. Center the dressing and carefully apply it over the wound (the white part on the wound).
5. Gently press the dressing onto the surrounding skin.

Changing and removing the dressing.
1. The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days. The frequency of dressing changes will depend on the patient's condition and the amount of secretions. The dressing will be changed when the secondary dressing has reached its absorbent capacity.
2. Carefully remove the dressing from the wound and dispose of it taking into account the risk of contamination.
3. If necessary, clean the wound area with an appropriate wound cleanser before applying a new dressing.

Ingredients:
Trilaminated polyurethane foam dressing with adhesive edges with silicone adhesive

Precautions:
Do not use for full thickness burns
Do not use for dry wounds or with a reduced amount of secretions.
Do not reuse in whole or in part, as it may compromise the sterility and/or performance of the dressing.
Hyalo4 non-adhesive polyurethane foam dressing should not be ingested and should be kept out of the reach of children and animals.
Do not cover with an occlusive dressing.
Do not use the dressing for patients with known sensitivity to polyurethane.
Do not use with oxidizing solutions such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide, as these may break down the absorbent polyurethane part of the dressing.
Keep dry, at a temperature below 25℃.
