What is iodine?
Iodine is a valuable element classified as a non-metal. It is a trace mineral in the human body, that is, it occurs in very small quantities, but at the same time necessary for its proper functioning. It is estimated that the human body contains only about 50 micrograms of iodine, of which up to 75% is in the thyroid gland.
How does iodine work?
Iodine regulates the synthesis of thyroid hormones - thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). The thyroid gland is one of the most important hormonal centers that manage the metabolism of the entire body. Therefore, balanced thyroid function is the balance of the whole body.
In addition, iodine helps the proper functioning of the nervous system and improves cognitive functions. It also contributes to maintaining proper energy metabolism and helps maintain healthy skin.

Ingredients: potassium iodide (iodine), microcrystalline cellulose.
Daily serving: ½ tablet with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Aliness Iodine 200 µg / 400 µg does not contain ingredients of animal origin , which makes it a source of iodine, an easily absorbable mineral form of potassium iodide, suitable for vegans . The product does not contain artificial technological additives, preservatives or colorings.
Half a tablet contains 260 µg of potassium iodide, equivalent to 200 µg of iodine.
Precautions: The product cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. It is recommended to follow a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Note: the daily dose is ½ tablet, which corresponds to 200 µg of iodine. One tablet contains two daily servings, i.e. 400 µg of iodine.
