Monacolin K – what is it?
Monacolin K is also known as lovastatin. It is a multifunctional chemical organic compound from the group of statins of natural origin. It is produced in the fermentation process of rice grains with the participation of Monascus purpureus fungi. This process leads to the formation of so-called fermented red rice.
The recommended daily dose of the product from the Polish brand Invent Farm is 1 capsule. A pack containing 60 capsules provides two months of supplementation for an adult, if used daily as recommended.
