What is HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® for?

The combination of hyaluronic acid and ectoine in HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® ensures intensive and long-term hydration of the eye surface and protection against excessive evaporation of tears. It thus alleviates the typical manifestations of inflammation, such as itching and burning, which are caused by irritation from the external environment. HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® contains a particularly high concentration of hyaluronic acid (0.2%). Thanks to this fact, the eye is intensely and long-term hydrated. With HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® serious chronic complaints are alleviated and the eyes are protected from irritation.

The use of ectoine in HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® eye drops increases the ability to bind water in the cells on the surface of the eye and thus creates a physiological barrier against external inflammatory stimuli on the conjunctiva. Ectoine further helps to stabilize the lipid layer in the tear film. The eyes are protected more effectively against the evaporation of fluids and drying. Ectoine helps relieve symptoms of inflammation and soothes damaged tissue. Ectoine is a natural substance that, among other things, is created by microorganisms living in extreme conditions. For example, microorganisms living in extremely salty waters produce ectoin to protect themselves from desiccation and to secure their vital cellular components against the effects of a hostile environment.

Dosage

HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® should be used according to this manual or according to your doctor's recommendations. The dose for adults and children six years of age and older is usually 1 drop of HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® three times a day in the conjunctival sac of each eye.
If you use HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® more often (for example, more than ten times a day) or if you have more serious problems, you should visit your eye doctor regularly.
HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® should not be used more than ten times a day during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.
HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® is suitable for long-term use. However, in the case of long-lasting problems (for example, more than two weeks), you should consult a doctor, as with all diseases.

Warning

When using other eye drops at the same time, an interval of at least 30 minutes must be observed between individual applications. HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® eye drops should be administered last.
Eye ointments should not be applied during treatment with HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® eye drops.
Do not use with contact lenses.
No controlled clinical data are available on the use of HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Based on current knowledge, HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® can be used by children from 6 years of age and pregnant or breastfeeding women.
The use of the preparation HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® is not limited in time.
The contents of one bottle of HYLO DUAL INTENSE ^® should be used by one person only.
