Hibiscus tea, 50 g, Dacia Plant
(Hibiscus sabdariffa). Hibiscus is a plant that belongs to the malvaceae family, originating from the tropics. The flowers, of luxuriant beauty, have been used throughout time, especially in oriental folk medicine, in the form of aromatic teas, with a strong relaxing and cooling effect, in the treatment of kidney and digestive ailments. In Malaysia, the fresh juice obtained from the calyx of the plant is used, due to its high content in vitamin c and anthocyanosides, and in the Caribbean, the drink obtained from the fresh fruit is indispensable during the Christmas celebrations.

Administration:
Internal: Powder - the plant is finely ground with an electric grinder. take a grated teaspoon 4 times a day, on an empty stomach. The powder is kept under the tongue for 10-15 min., after which it is swallowed with water. Cold maceration - prepare from a spoonful of the plant added to 250 ml of water, keep for 6-8 hours at room temperature, then strain and drink on an empty stomach. administer 3 cups of macerated per day, with 30 min. before meals. Infusion - prepare from a spoonful of the plant added to 250 ml of boiling water, keep for 15 min. at room temperature, then strain and drink on an empty stomach. administer 3 cups of infusion per day, with 30 min. before meals.
