Description
Gaviscon mint Tab is a preparation intended for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux symptoms in adults, pregnant women and children starting with the age of 12. It contains three active substances:
- sodium alginate (250 mg in 1 tablet),
- sodium bicarbonate (133.5 mg in 1 tablet),
- calcium carbonate (80 mg in 1 tablet).
The drug creates a protective layer on the surface of the stomach contents, which prevents it from flowing back from the stomach. This reduces pain and discomfort in the mouth and throat.
Gaciscon with mint flavor is available as chewable tablets. The cardboard box contains blisters of 48 tablets.
