Galmed Carbo medicinalis opti 20 tablets

Carbo medicinalis (activated charcoal for internal use) is charcoal of vegetable origin in a specific structure with a large active surface. It works on the principle of adsorption, that is, absorbing mainly organic substances and gases from the environment by binding them to the surface of the carbo structure. It is not absorbed in the body. Kaolin contributes to the adsorption capacity of the product.

Observe and save

This product is not intended for children under 3 years of age . Keep out of reach of children. It is not designed as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose, store in a dry and dark place at a temperature of up to 25° C. Use by the date indicated on the package. Do not take at the same time as oral medications, but at least 2 hours apart.

Dosage

In general, 2-4 tablets 2-3 times a day (for children, the lower limit of the indicated dose applies), it is best to chew the tablets and drink them well with clean water. When taking 1 g (4 tablets) at least 30 minutes before a meal and 1 g (4 tablets) after a meal, the preparation reduces excessive intestinal flatulence. The preparation is intended for short-term use.
