The GAL ® brand dietary supplement with cod liver oil and evening primrose oil is intended as a supplement to the daily diet with vitamins A, D and E and essential unsaturated fatty acids from the omega-3 and omega-6 families, including eicosapentaenoic acid ( EPA ), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and γ-linolenic acid (GLA).
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contribute to the proper functioning of the heart. The beneficial effect occurs with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA from all food sources. In addition, DHA consumed in an amount of 250 mg per day supports the maintenance of the correct functioning of the brain, as well as the maintenance of correct vision.
Vitamin A supports the maintenance of correct vision. Vitamin D helps keep bones and teeth healthy and muscles work properly. In addition, vitamins A and D help the immune system function properly. Vitamin E, on the other hand, plays a role in protecting cells against oxidative stress.
