Epicogel oral suspension: Aluminum hydroxide dry gel 8.1 g, magnesium hydroxide 2 g, simethicone 2.5 g, excipients: citric acid, hydrogen peroxide, peppermint oil, mannitol, methyl sodium p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, sodium saccharin, sorbitol solution 70% m purified water Method of administration Epicogel oral suspension: The usual dose is 1 - 3 dosing measures (5 - 15 ml) oral suspension during pain. Shake before use.
Precautions / Warning Epicogel oral suspension: Concomitant administration with quinidine or salicylates can increase their plasma concentration (alkalization of the urine reduces their elimination) with risk of overdose Concomitant oral administration of Epicogel and: some antibiotics (tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy - ethambutol and isoniazid, lincosamides), H2-blocking antihistamines, β-adrenergic blockers (atenolol, metoprolol, propranol, etc.), chloroquine, digoxin, diphosphonates, iron salts, sodium fluoride, glucocorticoids, indomethacin, ketoconazole, phenothiazine neuroleptics, penicillamine, reduce their digestive absorption.
It is recommended that Epicogel be administered more than 2 hours after these medicinal products.
