Microorganisms considered probiotics:

The use of the Enterolactis product is considered harmless, so the product can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding;
Enterolactis is equally effective and well tolerated in the elderly as well as in the young, children and infants.
The product must be drunk / consumed at the time of preparation, so it cannot be preserved.
Enterolactis a complete treatment, to be effective, must last at least 2-3 weeks.
In case of simultaneous administration with antibiotics, Enterolactis must be administered at a distance of at least 2-3 hours from the antibiotic.

Therapeutic indications:
Any type of intestinal dysmicrobism:

• after administration of antibiotics (it is preferable to associate Enterolactis with each antibiotic treatment to prevent dysmicrobism). In this situation, Enterolactis must be administered at a distance of 2-3 hours after antibiotic administration.
• intestinal dysmicrobism after abdominal surgery
• intestinal dysmicrobism after radiological investigations with barium sulfate or other contrast substances that destroy the intestinal flora
• intestinal dysmicrobism after eating mistakes
• intestinal dysmicrobism after radio therapy, cobalt therapy, etc., in neoplasm patients.
• acute infectious diarrhea, viral or bacterial: decreases the duration of the acute episode.
• cow's milk allergy.

The use of Enterolactis provides more efficiency in controlling the remission of inflammatory bowel diseases.

By the fact that it strongly depopulates the colon with the Coli bacillus => prophylaxis of recurrent urinary infections.

dOSAGE

• one sachet a day, dissolved in water, milk or other liquid
• one capsule a day, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach
• the product will be administered from the age of 6

Application examples:
1. Diarrhea caused by antibiotics:
- a preventive treatment reduces the risk of diarrhea, so it should be used with each antibiotic administration;
-recommended dosage: 1 cps/day from the start of the antibiotic treatment and up to 10-15 days after its termination;
- administration is preferable to be done between antibiotic doses;

2."Traveler's Diarrhea":
-prevention with probiotics that colonize the intestine, prevents contamination with pathogens;
-recommended dosage: 1 cps/day one week before departure and during the trip;

3. Diarrhea caused by Rotavirus:
- in this case the administration of L. casei DG strongly reduces the duration and severity of diarrhea
- produces an improvement in the local (IgA) and systemic (IgG and IgM) immunological response;
- no effects on bloody diarrhea have been demonstrated;

4. The allergy produced by cow's milk:
-IT. casei DG is capable of cleaving casein into simple peptides;
-these peptides reduce the production of IL-4;
-probiotics can be used against food allergies;

5. Colitis caused by Clostridium difficile:
- relapses are common (15-20%)
-IT. casei DG has been successfully used in case of relapses without the need for antibiotic therapy (2cps/day for 3 weeks);
-20-30% of patients, after the first episodes, become asymptomatic carriers, in which case the administration of L. casei DG is recommended;

6. Eradication of H. Pylori:
-a study compared to a placebo demonstrated that when supplemented for 14 days with L. casei DG, the eradication therapy gives greater efficiency;

7. Diverticular disease of the colon:
Probiotics: their oral administration creates an unfavorable environment for colonization with pathogens;
- decrease the intestinal pH;
-occupies the microbiological niche;
- produce substances similar to antibiotics;
-modulates the immune response;

8. IBD:
- inflammation settles in the anatomical places where there is the highest concentration of bacteria (distal ileum and colon);
- in patients with RCHU, a decrease in the number of lactobacilli and an increase in the number of E. coli were observed;
- patients in the active phase showed an altered tolerance to their own intestinal microflora;
- high concentrations of antibodies, antagonists of the autochthonous microflora, were revealed in the patients' serum;
