Precautions:

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
Associated with paracetamol:
Clinical experience regarding the use of paracetamol during pregnancy and breastfeeding is limited.
Task :
Epidemiological data regarding the use of therapeutic doses of paracetamol have not shown any unwanted effects in pregnant women or on the health of the fetus or newborn.
Reproduction studies with orally administered paracetamol have not shown malformations or toxic effects on the fetus.
Prospective data on pregnant women exposed to overdoses of paracetamol did not demonstrate an increased risk of malformations.
However, Efferalgan Vitamine C should not be used during pregnancy unless the benefit/risk ratio has been carefully assessed. In pregnant patients, the recommended dose and duration of administration must be strictly observed.
Breastfeeding:
After oral administration, small amounts of paracetamol are excreted in breast milk. Cases of transient skin rashes have been reported in breast-fed infants. However, paracetamol is considered to be compatible with breastfeeding. However, administer Efferalgan Vitamine C with caution to breastfeeding women.
Associated with vitamin C:
Vitamin C passes from the maternal blood to the fetal blood through an active transport mechanism. Vitamin C is excreted in human breast milk. Limited epidemiological and clinical data do not support any deviation from the dose range of vitamin C provided by taking the recommended daily dose for healthy adults in pregnant and lactating women (see section 4.5 and section 4.9). Given the limited data on high doses of vitamin C during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use of Efferalgan Vitamine C during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended unless under medical supervision.
