Warning

• Although we recommend and best for babies to feed using a valve, this bottle also works as a regular bottle without a valve
• Some parents are comfortable with the option of removing the valve, for older babies or if the baby no longer has colic symptoms. Smooth flow is ensured by means of a teat
• Do not use the microwave for heating , as uneven heating creates hot spots in milk or food. Test the teat by pulling on the tip and replace it if it shows signs of wear
• Always test the temperature of the liquid in the bottle before feeding your baby. The bottle can only be used under the supervision of an adult
• Do not leave the baby alone with the feeding bottle and do not let them walk or take the bottle to bed while feeding
• A recent university study looking at nutrient levels in breast milk and in different bottle feeds (during 20-minute feedings) showed that Dr. Brown's bottles help maintain levels of important nutrients.
• The valve system reduces oxidation, mixing of milk with air and the formation of bubbles in milk, which easily loses nutrients due to oxidation.
