Keratinization of the skin is caused by the accumulation of excessive amounts of dead epidermal cells that do not naturally exfoliate. This leads to thickening of the skin and deterioration of its condition. Keratosis is manifested by the roughness and drying of the epidermis. These conditions most often occur in the course of psoriasis, ichthyosis, diabetes or atopic dermatitis (AD).
Crema Della Natura contains a high content of urea, which, combined with salicylic acid and lactic acid, softens calloused epidermis and eliminates skin peeling. Due to its moisturizing and softening properties and ability to retain water in the epidermis, urea is a popular ingredient in cosmetic preparations used to care for dry skin. The cosmetic formula also contains active substances such as sweet almond oil, shea butter, panthenol, allantoin and vitamin E.
