Properties:
Therapeutic indications:
- COLOMINT capsules contain peppermint oil obtained from Mentha piperita leaves and known to have antispasmodic, carminative (antiflatulent) and choleretic properties.
- Being enteric-soluble, COLOMINT capsules do not disintegrate in the stomach, but only when they reach the intestine, where they release peppermint oil, which causes the relaxation of intestinal smooth muscles, especially those of the colon.
- In addition, peppermint oil, through its carminative effect, favors the elimination of excess intestinal gases, which leads to the reduction of bloating and abdominal discomfort.
- Due to these properties, COLOMINT capsules are beneficial in abdominal discomfort accompanied by intestinal cramps, colic and excessive accumulation of intestinal gases.
Ingredients (Composition):
A COLOMINT capsule, with a total weight of 288 mg, contains:
0.2 ml (183 mg) peppermint oil (Mentha piperita); capsule shell: gelling agent (gelatin), stabilizers (sorbitol, glycerol), preservatives (sodium ethyl hydroxybenzoate, sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate), colorant (sodium-copper chlorophyllin).
Administration method:
Adults: 1-2 capsules, 3 times a day, before meals.
Children 12-17 years: 1 capsule 3 times a day, before meals.
