The warm drink is a cold and flu remedy that contains three active ingredients:

• Paracetamol, pain and fever medicine that relieves sore throat, headache, muscle and joint pain and reduces fever
• Phenylephrine chloride, a medicine that unclogs stuffy noses and sinuses, helping to make breathing easier
• Ascorbic acid (vitamin C), a common ingredient in cold and flu medicines, is included in the medicine to help replace vitamin C, which can be deficient in the early stages of flu and colds.

Dosage

Pour the contents of the bag into a glass and cover with very hot water. Mix until the powder dissolves. You can sweeten with honey or sugar to taste or add cold water. Drink a warm drink. Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents over 15 years of age (weighing over 50 kg): 1 bag 1 to 4 times a day. Always take individual doses after 4 hours. Do not take more than 4 sachets in 24 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Contraindications

Coldrex hot drink contains paracetamol. Do not take this medicine with any other medicine containing paracetamol. Do not take this medicine without a doctor's advice if you have a problem with drinking alcohol and/or have liver disease. Coldrex hot drink also contains a decongestant (medicine that removes nasal congestion). Do not take this medicine with other medicines that are used to relieve the flu, cold, or swelling of the nasal lining (stuffy nose). Do not take ColdrexHot drink if you are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine chloride, vitamin C or any of the other components of this medicine, if you have any of the following health problems: severe liver disease, including acute jaundice, increased blood pressure, increased intraocular . (glaucoma), are taking or have taken in the last two weeks medicines known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors (medicines for depression). Due to the medicinal content, it should not be administered to children under 15 years of age.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding: The drug is not suitable for use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
