Chondrosulf 400 mg x 180 capsules

The medicine contains sodium chondroitin sulfate. It is intended for the long-term treatment of degenerative joint diseases (osteoarthritis), mainly the following types of osteoarthritis:

• Femoral-calf
• Femoral-knee
• Osteoarthritis of the hip joint
• Knee arthrosis
• Arthrosis of finger joints

Dosage and dosage regimens

2 capsules 1x a day.

Mode of use

Capsules are taken at regular intervals and regardless of food. For patients with a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the medicine after a meal. The capsules should not be chewed, they should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of liquid.

Warning

The drug should be administered to pregnant or lactating women only in case of real need and only under direct medical supervision. There is no evidence to support the use of the drug in children aged 0-15 years. For this reason, the use of the drug in children is not recommended. Patients suffering from renal and/or hepatic insufficiency, as well as patients with hepatic and/or renal insufficiency, should be treated with particular caution. The medicine contains sorbitol. This medicine contains 36.5 mg of sodium in one capsule, which corresponds to 1.8% of the maximum daily dose recommended by WHO of 2 g of sodium for an adult.
