The drug contains vitamin C, which is used to prevent the lack of this vitamin and in its treatment, most often in case of an increased need for vitamin C during infectious diseases. Vitamin C is important for the growth and maintenance of healthy bones, teeth, gums, ligaments and blood vessels, for the production of substances involved in the transmission of nerve impulses, for the production of hormones, for the absorption of iron from food, for the normal immune response to infection and for wound healing. The human body cannot create vitamin C on its own, so it is necessary to supply it to the body. A milder deficiency is manifested by nosebleeds, swollen gums and pain, weakness or fatigue. The tablet form of the vitamin provides a faster onset of action.

How to take Celaskon?

• Take 1 capsule once a day. Swallow the capsule whole, unchewed and drink a sufficient amount of liquid.
• It is administered for the therapy of ascorbic acid deficiency states, especially during periods of increased stress (in infectious diseases). There is an increased need for vitamin C in pregnant and lactating women, in children during the growth period, in case of excessive physical and mental stress, in convalescence or after infectious diseases.

Dosage:

• With a lack of vitamin C in the body, adults and children older than 6 years usually take 5-10 tablets of Celaskon per day.
• To cover the increased need during the transition period, 2-5 tablets of Celaskon are taken daily.
• Children aged 3-6 years are given 1-2 tablets of Celaskon per day.
• The dose for children under 3 years old is determined by the doctor.
• For good use in the body, it is more appropriate to take the total daily dose divided into several partial doses per day than all at once.
