Indications:
Bixtonim Xylo 0.5 mg/ml is indicated for children aged between 2 and 6 years for: decongestion of the nasal mucosa due to coryza, vasomotor rhinitis and allergic rhinitis, facilitating the evacuation of secretions in paranasal sinus conditions, as adjunctive treatment in otitis media, for decongestion nasopharyngeal mucosa, facilitating rhinoscopy.

Composition:
One milliliter of nasal drops, solution contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg. Excipient: benzalkonium chloride 0.1 mg in one ml nasal drops, solution. Clear, colorless solution, free of visible particles, odorless.

Administration method:
The recommended dose is 1-2 drops 1-2 times a day (at intervals of 8-10 hours), in each nostril. This medication should not be used for more than 5 days, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Before reusing xylometazoline, a break of several days is necessary. The bottle will only be used by one child, to avoid the spread of pathogenic microorganisms through the dropper.

Contraindications:
- hypersensitivity to xylometazoline or to any of the excipients; rhinitis sicca (inflammation of the nasal mucosa not accompanied by secretion); glaucoma, especially angle-closure, children under 2 years of age; patients with trans-sphenoidal hypophysectomy or after surgical interventions with exposure of the dura mater.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
This is not the case, considering that the medicine is used in children aged between 2 and 6 years.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Prolonged or high-dose xylometazoline treatment presents a risk of adverse reactions at the central nervous and cardiovascular level. If such effects occur, the ability to drive vehicles or use machines may be negatively influenced.
