Ginger essential oil (M - 1162), 10 ml, Mayam

Ginger essential oil is a warm and stimulating oil, analgesic and anti-inflammatory, useful in relieving pain, colic, cramps, nausea. It is a reputed aphrodisiac and general tonic. It helps in states of fatigue, frigidity, loss of appetite.
The culinary and therapeutic virtues of ginger have been known for a long time. The essential oil obtained by distilling the rhizomes is used in aromatherapy due to its aperitif and invigorating action, in perfumery thanks to its smell or with warm, woody notes, but also in cosmetics, having anti-inflammatory, peripheral circulation stimulation and toning properties.

Method of obtaining:
By steam distillation of the rhizomes.

Characteristics:
Clear liquid, slightly yellowish, low viscosity.

Olfactory description:
Warm, strong, spicy aroma, with woody and spicy notes.

Properties:
- analgesic and anti-inflammatory, useful in relieving joint and muscle pain;
- aperitif, digestive system tonic;
- stimulator and tonic of the nervous system;
- sexual tonic, aphrodisiac;
- skin tonic, helps stimulate hair growth.

Recommendations :
- improvement of muscle and osteo-articular pains, warming of limbs and muscles;
- in case of nausea, hangover, motion sickness or travel sickness;
- flatulence, slow digestion, loss of appetite, bloating;
- general fatigue, impotence, frigidity;
- alopecia, hair loss;
- perfuming cosmetics and creating perfumes, eau de toilette.

Way of ussage:
- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations, perfumes and compositions for aromatherapy;
- as an ingredient in cosmetic products, the usual dosage is 0.5-2%;
- diluted with vegetable oil, applied by massage on painful areas or areas that require stimulation, heating;
- diluted with vegetable oil, applied by massage to prepare muscles before exercise;
- as an ingredient for the preparation of creams, balms, ointments or gels with local application for pain relief;
- diluted with vegetable oil, applied by massage on the spine or on the solar plexus to stimulate the sexual appetite and in case of general fatigue;
- diluted with vegetable oil or as an ingredient in cream for massaging the abdomen in case of digestive problems;
- a few drops for warm compresses in case of digestive problems, colic, cramps, bloating;
- 1-2 drops on a handkerchief for inhalation in case of nausea, indigestion, hangover, motion sickness;
- in vaporizers and candles, diffused in rooms, together with other essential oils;
- as an ingredient in shampoos, rubs or hair masks against hair loss or a drop added to the shampoo dose;
- together with other essences with top, middle and base notes, to create liquid or solid perfumes.
