- Eucalyptus essential oil (Eucalyptus globulus), which contains: 1,8 cineole, pinene, camphene, phelandrene.
- Eucalyptus is an Australian tree of impressive size: it can reach heights of up to 300 meters.
- Its name comes from the Greek words "eu" and "kalypto" meaning "good" and "covered" and refers to the appearance of the stamens.
- Eucalyptus was brought to Europe at the end of the 18th century, where it was first used for ornamental purposes.
- Eucalyptus oil began to be exported from the 19th century, at first being known as Sidney Peppermint, due to its mint-like properties.
Use for body and soul
